The Mitsubishi ASX was Mitsubishi's first foray into the small, city-based SUV.
The Lancer-based ASX first debuted in 2010, right in the middle of the worst economic crisis since the Great Depression. In that way, a small, cheap city SUV could not have been a better car for the times, and it's sold hand over fist in Australia since.
Since 2010, Mitsubishi has graced the ASX with a small facelift and the introduction of a new, 2.2-litre turbodiesel engine, replacing the old-tech 1.8-litre diesel in 2013. A two-litre petrol model has remained throughout.
Current prices range from $23,990 for the ASX ES (2WD) to $33,240 for the ASX EXCEED (2WD).
